The Belgrade Historical Society welcomes all who support our mission and share our commitment to preserve the rich history of the town and its lakes. Individuals, families, organizations, or businesses may join at one of the following membership levels:
- Conservator – $200
- Historian – $100
- Family – $50
- Individual – $20
The membership year is January 1 – December 31, and at any meeting of the members each membership is entitled to one vote.
Refunds: Refunds of any membership or donation will be issued when requested by the original donor, within three (3) months of original payment.
Members of the Belgrade Historical Society enjoy a number of perks that go along with membership:
- Those who provide us with their email addresses will receive a e-Newsletter, reminders of events, updates on recent happenings, and interesting articles with images from our collections.
- Members are welcomed FREE to all BHS programs.
- A 10% discount is extended on all society merchandise.
- Dues and contributions to the historical society are fully tax deductible.
- A special benefit to members is the satisfaction of preserving Belgrade’s history for future generations.
You may become a member of or donate to the Belgrade Historical Society in one of three ways:
- Send in by mail. Include your name, address, phone, email and level of membership (see above for amounts). Mail your information and check to BHS, PO Box 36A, Belgrade, Maine 04917.
- Join online. The link below will take you to our new Membership Database where you can complete a Membership/Donation form and pay via credit card or ACH. Our database is supported by DonorSnap with payment being processed with eMerchant via First American Bank.
